That scintillating form however has since evaporated however with some even suggesting that the much scrutinised Yang be handed his chance in favour of the German.

Why has Nicolas Kuhn gone off the boil?

What could be the reason in his drastic change of fortunes? Could it be that he’s been unsettled by the talk of any proposed transfer or has he indicated to the club that he wants a move? Nicolas has got to start performing again if he wants to keep his place in the side, as Brendan Rodgers won’t hesitate to wield the axe, especially with the form of Yang and the impending return of James Forrest, who incidentally needs a goal to maintain his consecutive scoring record in every season he has been a Celtic player.

Kuhn will start tomorrow but it’s getting close to Brendan Rodgers making a change to his starting XI and that could come next week at Perth if there’s not a notable improvement from Nicolas tomorrow.
