Nuno Espírito Santo said his Nottingham Forest side are solely focused on their upcoming game against Arsenal.
Forest are third in the Premier League and could close the gap on second-place Arsenal to three points with a win at the City Ground on Wednesday.
The Reds' top-four push has taken a hit recently following three defeats in their last four league games, but Nuno insists his club are taking things one match at a time.
"We chase the next game, that is all that is on our minds. We want to chase everything that we want to achieve." he said.
Forest took an early lead at Newcastle on Sunday through Callum Hudson-Odoi's sixth-minute opener but the Reds eventually fell to a 4-3 defeat.
Nuno's side conceded four goals in nine minutes before half time and the Portuguese coach said he was pleased with the response from his team after going behind, despite the loss.
"We react better than before. We didn't react to a tough time at Bournemouth but we reacted well against Newcastle. We were able to revert the momentum of the game. That was positive but not enough."
Forest have a fully fit squad for their home encounter with the Gunners.
