Having confirmed his departure from Nantes at the end of his contract last week, French full-back Sébastien Corchia has wasted no time in making his next move, and has now signed a two-year deal with Ligue 2 outfit Amiens
The one-time French international had spent the last three campaigns with Nantes, a spell which will have seen him lift the Coupe de France last season and make close to a century of appearances. The full-back has previously turned out for Sochaux, Lille and Sevilla, his time with the Andalusians also including loans spells at Espanyol and Benfica.
Corchia was joined by another defensive recruit over the weekend, with Amiens also confirming the arrival of Kylian Kaïboué on a three-year deal from Bastia. The 24-year-old, formerly of Montpellier, had impressed in his two full seasons with the Corsicans. Under newly-arrived head coach Omar Daf, the northern club will be hoping to improve on last year’s 12th-place finish in the French second tier.
