Eintracht Frankfurt confirm today that 23-year-old striker Ragnar Ache has joined 2. Bundesliga side Greuther Fürth on a season-long loan.
“We still believe in Ragnar’s ability to develop,” said sporting director Markus Krösche. “Unfortunately, he has struggled with injuries in the past which has made it even more difficult to return to a functioning team.
“We came to the joint decision that the temporary move to an ambitious second division club like Greuther Fürth can be very helpful in order to get back into a regular rhythm and gain new momentum.”
Ache joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Sparta Rotterdam in 2020 for €2m but has played just 341 minutes for SGE, scoring one goal and creating one.
Oliver Glasner and Co. are looking to strengthen their attack after deciding against making the loan move of Sam Lammers permanent and even more so now that Ache has left on loan.
