The day after their Champions League win against PSV, the good news keep on coming for Brest. The Ligue 1 side have announced the contract renewals of two of their key players: right-back Kenny Lala (33) and midfielder Mahdi Camara (26). The two players were part of the Brest squad that saved the club from a Ligue 2 relegation and went on to deliver the best Ligue 1 campaign in the Brittany side’s history last season, finishing third to propel Eric Roy’s Pirates to their first European competition.
Lala and Camara are now tied with Stade Brestois 29 over a contract set to expire in 2027. Brest announced their contract extensions with a sweet video, showing the two players offering Christmas gifts to local kids at Brest’s University Hospital’s pediatric ward. Brest will host Nantes this Sunday in Ligue 1.
