Torino have officially announced the extension of Samuele Ricci’s contract, positioning the club to maximise the potential value of the midfielder in a future sale, with Milan and Manchester City among the interested clubs.
The 23-year-old was linked with a move away from the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, but the Granata have made their intentions clear by renewing his deal, which rules out the prospect of an imminent departure.

The Italy international has established himself as a key player in Paolo Vanoli’s side this season, and his displays have drawn attention from a number of clubs, with the Rossoneri recently rumoured to be considering a move in January to sign the playmaker.
However, Torino made Ricci’s contract extension official on the first day of the winter transfer market, a move that will allow them to keep his transfer value high for next summer when several clubs are likely to approach them to negotiate a deal.

“Torino Football Club are pleased to announce the renewal of the contract for the sporting services of Samuele Ricci until June 30, 2028,” a statement published on the club’s official website on Thursday reads.
The midfielder has played all of Torino’s 18 Serie A games this term, scoring his first goal in their recent 2-2 draw at Udinese.
