The transfer business for AC Milan in the winter mercato was not just restricted to the senior side, with Milan Futuro completing a couple of moves.
As the official website writes, Milan are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Simone Branca from AS Cittadella. Born in Busto Arsizio on March 25, 1992, Branca developed through the Novara youth system before playing several years in Serie C.
Since 2018, he has competed in Serie B with Cittadella, where he made 233 appearances. Branca will join the Futuro squad, who are pushing to achieve survival under Daniele Bonera.
Milan also confirm that Dariusz Stalmach has made a permanent switch to 1. FC Magdeburg in Germany. The club have thanked Dariusz for the professionalism he’s shown during his time with the Rossoneri and wish him all the best in his personal and professional life going forward.
It is a shame for Stalmach to have departed given that he was believed to be on the cusp of a senior call-up on a couple of occasions but ultimately never made the jump.
