Real Madrid will be aiming to advance through to the next stage of the 2024/25 Copa del Rey when they take on fourth-division side Deportiva Minera in the Round of 32 tonight.
In what will be Los Blancos’ first match of the competition this season, manager Carlo Ancelotti has announced the starting lineup with a plethora of rotations being made.
For starters, there is an entirely new-look defensive unit comprising of youngsters Lorenzo Aguado, Raul Asencio, Diego Aguado, and Fran Garcia, who shield Andriy Lunin between the sticks.
Lorenzo and Diego both make their official first-team debuts for the Merengues.
Meanwhile, Ancelotti has opted to retain Federico Valverde in the lineup again with the Uruguayan pairing up with Eduardo Camavinga and Luka Modric in the middle of the park.
The attacking unit for the night comprises Endrick in the centre-forward position with support coming from Arda Guler and Brahim Diaz from the wide areas.
Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr., Kylian Mbappe, and Rodrygo Goes are all on the bench.
