Roma have officially sold midfielder Houssem Aouar to Al-Ittihad in a deal reported to be worth €12m plus bonuses, a huge profit for the club.
He only made the move to the Stadio Olimpico as a free agent last summer after leaving Olympique Lyonnais at the end of his contract.
There were four goals in 25 competitive appearances in the Giallorossi jersey, but he failed to earn regular playing time under Jose Mourinho or Daniele De Rossi.
A sale was completed today and announced by Al-Ittihad, with reports suggesting the money paid will be €12m plus add-ons.
This represents a great deal for Roma, because he arrived for free and therefore counts as total profit.
