Vitor Roque, Barcelona’s on-loan forward, has made a clear decision about his future.
According to Fichajes, despite an attractive offer from Palmeiras to return to Brazil in January, he has chosen to stay at Real Betis, where he is enjoying a successful spell on loan.
His performances for his current club, along with the strong support from both teammates and the manager, have helped him make up his mind.
The Brazilian forward had the option to go back to his homeland, with Palmeiras offering a tempting proposal to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
However, Roque, who has only spent a few months at Betis, is not interested in returning to Brazil just yet. Instead, he has prioritised his time at Betis, where he feels highly valued and in top form.

This decision highlights his commitment to the club’s ongoing project, and the support from Betis’ coach, who is pleased with Roque’s contributions to the team, only strengthens his resolve.
Roque’s adaptation to life at Betis has been remarkably swift and successful. His ability to create goal-scoring opportunities, along with his effective teamwork, has made him one of the standout performers.
The bond he shares with his teammates and the connection with the fans have made him feel at home at Betis. These factors have weighed more heavily in his decision than any external offers, no matter how appealing they may seem.
With his decision to stay at Betis now confirmed, Roque’s immediate future is clear. He is focused on continuing to impress, where the trust placed in him by the club has been well reciprocated.
His determination to give his best and deliver memorable performances will undoubtedly keep Barcelona on their toes as they are looking for a long-term replacement for Lewandowski as well.
