Chivas striker Oribe Peralta was clear and at the same time ironic in response to rumours about his future.
On the front page of Monday’s RÉCORD newspaper, they reported that Peralta was thinking about retiring at the end of the 2019 Apertura campaign.
Though he hasn’t found the back of the net in over a calendar year, Peralta immediately hit back at the Mexican daily, saying what translates to “Let me know” with a pair of laughing emojis.
Peralta will turn 36 in January and retired from the Mexican national team following the World Cup. He earned 67 caps and scored 25 goals for El Tri.
In 502 professional games, all with Mexican sides including rivals América, Peralta has scored 175 goals and contributed a further 78 assists.
