Despite only joining Boca Juniors last season it looks as if Paolo Goltz could be set for a move back to Mexico.
The 33-year-old joined the Buenos Aires giant from América and played 23 times as the Bombonera outfit made it to the Copa Libertadores final.
However a report in TyC Sport on Wednesday has claimed that the centre back is looking for a way back to Liga MX and could be in line to return to his old side América.
It’s said that the Águilas are in discussions with Goltz over a potential move back to Mexico City with Boca ready to release him from his contract and free up valuable wage resource.
Boca get their Superliga campaign under way next Monday when they face Newell’s.
América meanwhile are currently fifth in the Clausura having won both of their first two games.
