Today, December 25, Celtic Park opened its doors to welcome over 300 vulnerable individuals and families in need, as Celtic FC Foundation hosted a very special Christmas Day ‘Paradise Pit Stop’.
While Christmas is often a time of joy, for many, it can also be a period of significant stress, anxiety, and isolation. This event aimed to alleviate some of those pressures and provide a magical day for those who might otherwise have gone without.
Guests enjoyed a traditional Christmas meal, gifts, entertainment, and essential support services, all with the aim of spreading festive cheer and making a meaningful difference to the lives of vulnerable individuals and families in Glasgow.
This year’s event builds on the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to addressing food insecurity, loneliness and isolation.
The announcement also follows our record breaking 2024 Christmas Appeal, where we raised and distributed an astonishing total of £412,000.
Tony Hamilton, Chief Executive of Celtic FC Foundation, said: "This year, we are delighted to welcome even more guests and provide a day filled with joy and connection for those who need it most.
"At Celtic FC Foundation, we firmly believe that everyone deserves to experience the magic of Christmas, and Paradise Pit Stop truly embodies that spirit.
"As always, we are deeply grateful to the Celtic supporters, whose extraordinary generosity throughout this year’s Christmas Appeal continues to inspire us."
