Manchester City finally returned to winning ways after a series of defeats. They overpowered Nottingham Forest by 3-0 to bring back the joy home. However, they can’t pause to celebrate this win as they must have bigger targets to fulfil.
Defence
Stefan Ortega was solid enough again in the previous game and he is likely to keep his spot in the lineup ahead of Ederson. Nathan Ake and Manuel Akanji suffered a blow against Nottingham Forest. Both defenders are likely to miss this game, adding to injury problems.
So Pep Guardiola could use Kyle Walker as the right-back with Ruben Dias operating in the central areas. Josko Gvardiol should be backed at his normal left-back position.

Midfield
Amid injuries, Rico Lewis is likely to be used in the midfield alongside Ilkay Gundogan as both of them can control the tempo of the game and dictate terms in the midfield.
Attack
Bernardo Silva provides width on the right flank with Jeremy Doku creating chances from the other side with his electrifying moves.
Jack Grealish did well in the midfield in the previous game and he can be used in a similar fashion. No doubt over the selection of Kevin De Bruyne, who continues to be a game-changer for the English champions.
Erling Haaland is struggling to find the back of the net and he will be highly desperate to score this game.
Mateo Kovacic, Rodri and Oscar Bobb are all absentees with Phil Foden also being a doubt for this game.
