Following the 0-1 win at PSG in the midweek, Liverpool entertained Southampton in a game that would take the Reds 16 points clear of second-placed Arsenal in the Premier League.

The overall contribution improved from wide in the second half, as the entire team looked energised by the halftime alterations. Assisted the equaliser just after halftime and started to provide more service for his team.

The penalty that gave his team the lead was clinical and vital to the game state. Shot wide midway through the half as he looked to secure the result. The second penalty was clear and converted.
