Tomorrow afternoon, Leicester City come up against Brighton in the Premier League. So, we will run through our predicted Leicester lineup vs Brighton.
Heading into this game-week, Leicester City sat 16th in the table. However, Ruud van Nistelrooy's team are full to the brim with confidence. In his first match in charge, Leicester played incredibly brightly and slotted three goals past West Ham. The Foxes will be hoping for a similar display against the Seagulls.
So, we will run through our predicted Leicester lineup vs Brighton...
GK - Mads Hermansen. He was annoyingly close to a clean sheet in midweek, had it not been for a stoppage team West Ham consolation goal. He'll try even harder this weekend.
RB - James Justin. No need to rotate the right-back; James Justin will only continue to prosper under the new manager.
CB - Conor Coady. Yeah, Ruud van Nistelrooy seems to prefer Coady over Faes. It would be a surprise to see Faes come back into the starting lineup, but he could certainly play a role from the bench.
CB - Jannik Vestergaard. Managed 60 minutes against West Ham in midweek. He will be back in the starting lineup.
LB - Victor Kristiansen. Been a mainstay for Leicester so far this season. This will only continue to be the case under the new manager.
CM - Wilfred Ndidi. The first name on the team sheet, always. He will continue his 100% starting lineup streak in the Premier League. It is worth noting that Ndidi is close to suspension, so he should avoid a yellow card in this match.
CM - Boubakary Soumare. One of the players who could definitely benefit from having van Nistelrooy as the manager. Soumare is also just one yellow card away from a one-match ban.
CM - Bilal El Khannouss. Played brilliantly against West Ham at the weekend. With a goal and assist, he certainly proved himself to Ruud van Nistelrooy.
RW - Kasey McAteer. Started in Ruud's first game in charge and he didn't disappoint. While Jordan Ayew could also do a job here, I see no reason for Ruud to change the team too much.
ST - Jamie Vardy. Patson Daka came off the bench and impressed against West Ham, even scoring a goal. However, it will take a lot to replace the club legend Jamie Vardy.
LW - Stephy Mavididi. With El Khannouss moving more central, Mavididi will be given a run-out and a chance to prove himself from the beginning.
