Eight players are in contention for April's Goal of the Month award in the Premier League.

The nominees are Anthony Elanga, Alexis Mac Allister, Ollie Watkins, Jadon Sancho, Pablo Sarabia, Jean-Philippe Mateta, Yasin Ayari and Carlos Baleba.

Earlier, the Premier League announced the five nominees for April's Manager of the Month.

Arne Slot leads the list having secured the title in his first season in charge at Liverpool.

Also in contention are Pep Guardiola, Unai Emery, Eddie Howe (despite his touchline absence due to illness) and Vitor Pereira.

Voting is open until Monday and the winner will be announced next week. Who should it be?

Finally, seven players are in contention for the Premier League's Player of the Month award for April.

Wolves (Rayan Aït-Nouri and Jørgen Strand Larsen) and Newcastle (Harvey Barnes and Jacob Murphy) both have two players up for the honour.

The others in the running are recently crowned league winner Alexis Mac Allister, Morgan Rogers of Aston Villa and Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon.

None of the nominees have won the award before.
