PSG have better Premier League numbers than Southampton (yes, really)

PSG has beaten more Premier League teams this season than Southampton, despite not playing in the Premier League. If that doesn't tell you how bad Southampton have been, nothing will.
Last night, the Ligue 1 leaders took on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. While the game could have gone either way, Arsenal never looked like taking the lead. As a matter of fact, the North London side who beat the Saints 3-1 on home soil earlier this season, went a goal down inside the opening three minutes and never looked settled.
There is often a debate about whether French teams would make it in the Premier League, given the supposed gap in quality. However, PSG has done everything to debunk that myth this season, and actually, they have dominated every English team that's stepped in front of them.
For context, PSG has beaten Premier League opposition four times this season: Arsenal, Aston Villa, Man City and Liverpool. This is twice the number of wins against Premier League opposition that Southampton has, in 28 fewer games.
Now, obviously, Southampton won't be competing in the Champions League anytime soon. Furthermore, everybody knows that PSG is a better team than Southampton, this was never even a debate. However, it does raise a particular point on how poorly the Saints have played this season.
This is an open call: if any of the PSG players are bored of being good and winning every week, there is always a place available for them at St Marys Stadium. I don't think any Saint would turn their nose up at the opportunity of Europe's elite tearing up the Championship... right?
