Former Rangers star Craig Moore believes that Motherwell starlet Lennon Miller could ‘walk into’ Philippe Clement’s current team and stay there to continue his development.
Miller has alerted clubs with his performances in a Motherwell shirt and has already made seven goal contributions from midfield for the Fir Park outfit.
Both Glasgow giants Rangers and Celtic have been credited with interest in Miller but they are not the only sides keen though.
English and German clubs have also kept their eyes open to Miller’s progress.
However, doubts have also been raised regarding whether Miller would be able to play regularly if he moves to a bigger team right now.
Some have suggested that Miller needs to stay put to prioritise his development at Motherwell, but former Rangers star Moore thinks he would be able to walk into Rangers’ midfield.
“Lennon Miller has had a fantastic season and currently I think he could walk into the Rangers midfield area and continue to play there for his development [which] would be ongoing”, Moore said on Go Radio.
“Interesting time for Lennon Miller in terms of the decisions.
“There has got to be a lot of interest.
“It’s not just from Celtic and Rangers there are likely to be a lot of other interested clubs.
“But I think the benefit of playing games has been really crucial for him and he will look to find a similar situation where he is continuing to play matches.
“Motherwell are going to cash in at some stage whether that is January we will find out soon enough.”
Miller, who has a contract with Motherwell running until the summer of 2026, has represented Scotland at youth level.
