La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Manchester United are ready to part ways with Marcus Rashford on a dry loan deal, with Milan leading Barcelona in the race for the English striker.
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Rashford is closer to Milan than Barcelona after recent talks between the striker’s agent and European clubs.
The Italian newspaper claims that Manchester United are ready to loan Rashford without an option to buy.

This arrangement would, on paper, make life easier for Milan, as the Rossoneri would only need to negotiate the striker’s salary until the end of the season.
Milan still needs Manchester United to pay part of Rashford’s salary until June. The England international’s six-month salary is around €6m, and according to Gazzetta, the Rossoneri are ready to pay at least half of it.
Both Milan and Barcelona have held talks with Rashford’s agent and brother, but the Catalans’ financial struggles mean Milan are ahead in the race for the English striker, who has prioritised a move to San Siro.
According to Gazzetta, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Sergio Conceiçao have already explained the Milan project to Rashford’s entourage, while Fikayo Tomori has spoken highly of the club and the city to his compatriot.
