Sebastian Kehl (to Sky): "I'm totally delighted and relieved that we were able to win this match. Even if the situation (editor's note: the incident that led to the win) definitely had different aspects. But we needed this victory. Winning in this manner must give us renewed strength for the coming weeks. It has to give us so much energy; we have to keep believing in it and we can still do it. If we win all three matches, we have a great chance of playing in the Champions League next season."
Niko Kovac (at the press conference): "We did well for long periods, but we should have wrapped the game up much earlier through the penalty and the counter-attack we had with Jamie Gittens. By failing to do that, we gave Hoffenheim hope that they could come back. And they managed to do that twice. The goal for 2-2 was a blow. I'm pleased that we scored with the last kick. I can understand that Hoffenheim are very annoyed about that. My team showed the will to win right to the end. That's how you fight to achieve your objectives."
Emre Can (in the mixed zone): "We allowed it to become unnecessarily tense at the end. We had a few chances and we have to be more ruthless. It's harsh to allow play to continue, for sure (on the build-up to the third BVB goal). If the referee blows his whistle, you have to accept that. He explained to me: Because the passage of play afterwards was so short, he let it continue. Clearly, that's lucky for us. Anyone can read the table. We need every point and are now going for the Champions League."
Waldemar Anton (to Sky): "Pure emotion. We deserved it today. The second period wasn't so good, but we believed we could do it until the end, even after the goal that had made it 2-2. We believe we can do it, we're present again at important moments. I'm very, very happy that I was able to score the goal today. We worked a lot, fought a lot and played well at times. We just have to keep going in this vein."
Daniel Svensson (to BVB TV): "It was a difficult game and it is of course anything but ideal to concede such a late goal. But we fought until the end and were rewarded for it. I'm very happy about the win. I like playing in an attacking role, even though I've only scored one goal. I was able to contribute two assists to the win today. I'm very happy about that, of course. The most important thing is the three points. I'm very happy." Transcribed by Boris Rupert
