Joan Garcia has been one of the standout performers in La Liga this season, helping RCD Espanyol in their battle to avoid relegation.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper has constantly stepped up for his team, making over 100 saves already this season while also winning the award for the Best Save in La Liga for the months of February and March.
Given his performances, Joan Garcia has attracted the admiration of a host of top clubs from within Spain and abroad, with Real Madrid also among them, reports AS.
Along with the Spanish capital club, their bitter rivals Barcelona are also tracking the 23-year-old shot-stopper from Espanyol.
Furthermore, the likes of PSG, Manchester United, and Arsenal are also among the list of admirers of the Spaniard who won the gold medal in the Paris Olympics last year.

Garcia has a release clause in his contract with Espanyol which is worth €25 million, although it could drop down to just €15 million if the Catalan club are relegated at the end of the season.
With the club needing to generate revenue, the goalkeeper’s departure in the summer is pretty much a given, and there is no shortage of admirers.
However, it must be noted that Real Madrid have their goalkeeping position sorted and secured for the coming years with Thibaut Courtois the undisputed starter while Andriy Lunin has proven himself to be a more than reliable backup.
While Courtois’ contract does expire next year, the 32-year-old Belgian is expected to sign an extension this summer, meaning it is unlikely that Real Madrid will consider making any move for Garcia despite their admiration for him.
