Real Madrid are, quite clearly, one of the most historically successful clubs in football, and the club’s huge fanbase today is heavily influenced by their success.
The Merengues continue to maintain their astronomical standards year after year and are one of the sport’s biggest institutions. Unsurprisingly, they are also among the best-ranked clubs in terms of financial returns.
Given Real Madrid’s brand value, the big names in the club and the trophies they win regularly, it is clear that they are one of the highest-earning clubs in the world as a recent report by UEFA shows where Los Blancos stand.
As relayed by SPORT, UEFA’s report places Real Madrid as the leader in Europe in terms of revenue for the year 2024 with the club earning a total of €1073 million over the course of the year.

For comparison, their domestic rivals Barcelona and Atletico Madrid recorded a revenue of just €764 million and €408 million respectively.
Moreover, Real Madrid generated more than twice the revenue recorded by the tenth-placed team Chelsea, and thrice that of the fifteenth-placed team Newcastle United.
The breakup of the revenue streams provides more clarity as to where the money primarily entered the club coffers from and it is not surprising that Real Madrid led on most metrics.
The men in white raked in €185 million through ticket sales and averaged €7.4 million per home game, figures that place them convincingly as the highest in the world.
Real Madrid also led in terms of sponsorship and commercial revenues with €458 million, a figure significantly higher than competitors like Barcelona and Atletico Madrid who were on €383 million and €108 million respectively.
