La Liga giants Real Madrid have early this week touched base with their counterparts at Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich.
That’s according to Blancos insider José Félix Díaz of Marca, who points towards as much as having come with regards to Joshua Kimmich.
The name of midfielder Kimmich has of course returned to the forefront of the headlines in Spain’s capital over recent days.
This comes after claims surfaced that direct contacts had been initiated between the brass at the Santiago Bernabéu and the German’s entourage, over the terms of a summer transfer.
Kimmich’s terms at the Allianz Arena are due to come to a close upon the season’s end.
All those of a Real Madrid persuasion excited by the prospect of the potential arrival of the 29-year-old at the club, however, need not get their hopes up.
This comes amid further confirmation that, in fact, the La Liga table-toppers are not in talks with Kimmich or his representatives.
As per the aforementioned José Félix Díaz:
‘Bayern Munich know that Real Madrid are not negotiating with Kimmich. Call from Valdebebas so there is no confusion.’
