Jürgen Klopp will be presented to the public by Red Bull in Salzburg next week in what will be the German’s first appearance in his new role as Head of German Soccer at the Austrian drinks company.
A spokesperson confirmed to APA, via kicker, that Klopp will be presented at a press conference in Hanger-7 on Tuesday afternoon, which will be attended by a large number of international media.
Klopp started his new role at the beginning of the year, and it’s one that will see the former Mainz, Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool manager away from the touchline. The 57-year-old’s new role will include advising all Red Bull clubs: Leipzig, Salzburg, New York, Bragantino and Omiya Ardija, in Japan, on coaching matters, philosophy, player development as well as transfers surrounding players and coaches.
Red Bull also acquired shares in Leeds United last season and is a minority shareholder of Ligue 2 side Paris FC, who is now owned by Antoine Arnault.
