Stade Rennais could welcome Ludovic Blas back to the starting line-up for their trip to face Olympique Lyonnais on Saturday evening.
Blas had missed five weeks with a thigh injury before making a return off the bench during the victory over his former club FC Nantes, last week. One week later, and he could lead the line for Rennes in Lyon. It is unclear whether this is the option that Habib Beye will opt for or whether he will prefer to instead play former Montpellier HSC forward Mousa Al-Taamari alongside Arnaud Kalimuendo, Rennes’ top scorer this season, who is bound to have a place in the starting XI.
There are no fresh injury concerns for Habib Beye, who nevertheless remains without defender Alidu Seidu, a long-term absentee.
