Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing the Real Madrid attacker Endrick at the end of the season.

The 18-year-old Brazilian is regarded as one of the finest young attacking talents in the game right now, and Chelsea are keen on securing his signature. According to a report via Fichajes, they have already submitted a €70 million offer to sign the South American, but Real Madrid have decided to turn it down.

The Spanish club are unwilling to sell the South American prodigy, any time soon, and they believe that he will be a key part of their future. The 18-year-old has already shown his quality at Real Madrid and he will only improve with coaching and experience.

It is no secret that Chelsea need attacking reinforcements, and the Brazilian would have been an exceptional long-term acquisition. He has all the attributes to develop into a world-class player. He has been linked with Arsenal as well.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti rates the player highly and heaped praises on him earlier this season.

“Endrick looks really promising, with huge potential. In that goal, he showed all his qualities—he’s fast, has great control, and packs a powerful shot. That’s his thing. He’s a proper striker, especially dangerous in tight spaces,” .

Real Madrid will not sell Endrick

It is no surprise that Real Madrid have chosen to turn down the offer from Chelsea. They will want to hold onto their best young players as they are building a formidable squad for the future. Endrick has been linked with Tottenham as well.

It will be interesting to see if Chelsea decides to move on to other targets. They need a reliable goalscorer to support Nicolas Jackson next season and share the goalscoring burden with him.

Meanwhile, Endrick will look to focus on his development at Real Madrid and establish himself as a key player for them in the coming seasons.
