Report – Inter Milan Keen On Signing Young Newell’s Old Boys Duo | OneFootball

Inter Milan are keen on moves for Newell’s Old Boys forward Mateo Silvetti, and midfielder Tomas Perez.

This according to Argentine broadcaster TyC Sports, via FCInter1908. They report that Newell’s want €10 million for Silvetti, and €3 million for Perez.

Inter are currently monitoring the market for young players in Argentine football.

The Nerazzurri are certainly no strangers to signing players from South America, and in particular Argentine.

Current Inter captain Lautaro Martinez arrived straight at the club from Racing Club in 2018.

Most recently, Inter signed young Argentine defender Tomas Palacios last summer.

And TyC Sports confirm recent reports that there are two more names on Inter’s radar.

One is that of 18-year-old forward Mateo Silvetti.

Silvetti has been in outstanding form in recent months. Therefore, Inter Assistant Sporting Director Dario Baccin has scouted him.

TyC note that Silvetti has a contract with Newell’s that runs until the end of December of this year.

The Argentine club’s hope is to sell the teenager in the summer. However, they would like a deal that would leave him on loan until the end of 2025.

Newell’s want a fee of around €10 million for Silvetti.

Meanwhile, Inter Assistant Sporting Director Baccin has also had a close look at midfielder Tomas Perez. He is a player who Newell’s want around €3 million for, reports TyC.
