Manchester United and Chelsea are looking to sign an attacker in the summer transfer window after their current players failing to impress this season.
Man United attackers Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have scored a combined five Premier League goals all season and that has been one of the reasons why the Red Devils have struggled.
Whether it was under former manager Erik ten Hag or under current manager Ruben Amorim, the United attackers have failed to find their form and the club is currently considering replacing them in the summer.
Same has been the case with Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea side, who have the options of Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku in attack but none of them have been able to show ruthlessness in front of goal.
Although Jackson has scored nine goals in the league this season, which is a better return than the Man United attackers, his consistency is a big issue for the Blues.
According to Football Insider, Man United and Chelsea are considering a move for Ipswich Town attacker Liam Delap.
Following their promotion to the Premier League, Ipswich have had a disastrous season in the top flight of England. However, Delap has been one of the success stories of the season.

The 22-year-old has scored nine goals this season but at the age of just 22, he has shown he has the potential to become one of the best attacking players in the league.
Delap has pace, finishing quality and the physicality to thrive at a top Premier League side.
It would be difficult for Keiran McKenna and Ipswich to keep Delap at the club if the Tractor Boys end up getting relegated.
Delap’s current deal at Ipswich runs until 2029 and any club interested in signing him would have to pay a premium fee to secure his services.
