Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United side suffered a 3-2 defeat against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
It was their second defeat in a row in the Premier League after losing 2-0 against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The match showed the difficult job Amorim has taken at Man United and how they need improvements in all areas of the pitch.
While the likes of Marcus Rashford, Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have shown signs of improvement under Amorim, it is clear that the Red Devils need a ruthless presence upfront and someone who has a habit of scoring goals consistently.
In order to address that issue, Man United could make a move for one of the most prominent attackers in the game right now.
According to Il Mattino, as reported by Napoli Magazine, Man United are interested in signing Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen.
The Nigerian international is currently on loan to Galatasaray and some of the biggest clubs have taken notice of his brilliant performances.
Osimhen has scored seven goals and provided three assists in nine league games for the Turkish giants and that has alerted teams across Europe who are now looking to make a move for him in the January transfer window.

Serie A giants Juventus and Ligue 1 winners Paris Saint-Germain have both been named as the clubs who are interested in signing the prolific attacker.
The report has mentioned that Osimhen has a €75 million release clause (£62m) which would be a bargain fee for an attacker of his quality.
Napoli are looking to raise funds in order to make improvements to their squad and selling Osimhen is one of the options they are considering.
Antonio Conte’s side are involved in a title race at the moment with Atalanta. They are currently two points behind Gian Piero Gasperini’s side in the Serie A standings.
The Red Devils have struggled to score goals this season and a new addition in the attacking position will not be a surprise.
Their goal difference is just +1 at the moment which shows a clear lack of goals in their side.
Osimhen has experience at the top level after previously guiding Napoli to a league title and he is someone who will not only add quality to the attack but also leadership in the Man United side.
