Roma and manager Daniele De Rossi might be forced to deal with the prolonged absence of recent arrival Alexis Saelemaekers.
The Belgian winger, who joined the Giallorossi just two weeks ago on a deadline day move from Milan, was forced off early in the second half against Genoa on Sunday—suffering an apparent ankle injury.
According to Corriere dello Sport, there’s growing concerns that Saelemaekers’ suffered a broken ankle—he will undergo additional tests on Monday to determine the extent of the issue.
In the event of a fracture, the 25 year-old may miss 2-3 months of action.
