Inter have an injury crisis with an eye on the Champions League, so Marko Arnautovic partners Lautaro Martinez, with Alessandro Bastoni again in an advanced role.

It kicks off at San Siro at 19.45 GMT.

The Nerazzurri are fresh from a morale-boosting 2-0 Champions League victory away to Feyenoord, which puts them in excellent position going into the second leg on Wednesday.

They also held Napoli to a draw to maintain their cushion at the top of the Serie A table, all despite an injury crisis ruling out Federico Dimarco, Nicola Zalewski and Matteo Darmian.

The good news is that Carlos Augusto is back on the bench along with goalkeeper Yann Sommer, but Bastoni is still filling in the gaps in a more advanced role as left-sided wing-back.

Marcus Thuram is rested in favour of Arnautovic, but Lautaro Martinez still starts, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Hakan Calhanoglu return to the starting XI.

Keita Balde Diao joins Monza

Monza are rock bottom, and sacking Alessandro Nesta to bring in Salvatore Bocchetti, then returning the original coach has not helped matters.

Luca Caldirola, Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro, Patrick Ciurria, Andrea Carboni plus former Inter players Stefano Sensi and Roberto Gagliardini are still out of action.

More ex-Inter men include Keita Balde Diao, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Matteo Pessina, the latter returning to the squad after missing most of the season.

Also available is Kevin Maussi Martins, the 20-year-old son of former Inter striker Obafemi Martins, and Inter-owned defender Tomas Palacios.

Inter: J Martinez; Pavard, De Vrij, Acerbi; Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Bastoni; Lautaro Martinez, Arnautovic

Monza: Turati; D’Ambrosio, Izzo, Birindelli; Pedro Pereira, Zeroli, Bianco, Castrovilli, Kyriakopoulos; Keita, Dany Mota
