Several Premier League clubs in the hunt for Atlético Madrid youth star | OneFootball

Atlético Madrid might not be quite as well known for developing young talent as the likes of Barcelona, but every so often a star emerges from Diego Simeone’s side.

Plenty of clubs are turning their attention to Fernando Torres’ youth side as they go on the hunt for Rayane Belaid’s signature.

Belaid is a young winger who is sitting on the verge of promotion to Atleti’s senior team but hasn’t quite been able to make the jump.

As per Relevo, several Premier League sides are now in the race to sign Belaid, although the clubs are currently going unnamed, so potentially take these reports with a pinch of salt.

Basque club Deportivo Alavés have been named as a potential destination for the 19-year-old however, should he look to remain in Spain.

The youngster has shown some true glimpses of excellence during his performances for the Atlético Madrid B team this season, so many football fans as well as clubs have begun to take notice.
