West Ham are in talks with US giant Amazon to become a partner with the club.
The company, which is owned by Jeff Bezos who is worth around £250billion, are in talks to become the clubs main sponsor and take on the naming rights for the London Stadium.
It was announced by the Premier League that from the 2026/27 season, clubs would not be permitted to have betting companies as their main shirt sponsor, meaning our partnership with Betway would have to come to a close.
It is however understood that talks with Betway are continuing over the possibility of them becoming the clubs sleeve sponsor once their current deal with West Ham expires.
A potential deal for Amazon has the potential to be a big moment for the club, to be aligned and in partnership with one of the most recognised brands in the world, which could in turn provide significant additional revenue for the club.
Reporting on The West Ham Way, club insider ExWHUEmployee advised that talks are ongoing, with the club putting a lot of work in to hopefully securing the deal soon.
“The club are doing a lot of work behind the scenes, with Amazon understood to be considering a potential deal to be the clubs partner, with shirt sponsorship and stadium naming rights, which could potentially be a huge move from the club,” stated Ex.
