Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl is full of praise for veteran goalkeeper Willy Caballero.
The 40-year-old was outstanding for the Saints in the FA Cup against Coventry City, a game they won after extra time.
It was Caballero's first game since mid-December.
"Absolutely fantastic. I'm very happy," Hasenhuttl said, when asked of Caballero's contribution, per the Daily Echo.
"This is the reason I wanted to give him a chance to play. He absolutely deserves it. He's a fantastic goalkeeper."
He continued: "With Alex out and Fraser taking a rest, it was important he showed up and that we can trust him. He showed a fantastic performance.
"Even in the penalty shooting, he's really a penalty killer. I was always confident because I felt with penalties he's always good here.
"I'm happy to have him here and for him to play such a good game.
"When you see his body at this age, you have to do a lot of things right.
"He's very settled, with both feet on the ground. A type of player and character every manager wants to have in their team."
