Liam Rosenior's current monthly achievements have been mind-blowing and that can draw Southampton closer to begin proposing him their head-coach role.
During the beginning of the week, respectable Saint Andy Townsend asked Southampton to give the team's keys to a shrewd manager. By now, a vast majority of the fanbase already knows that the squad lacks a game-changing knack and is on the same page with Townsend as a result.
Now, the most suitable way for judging any coach's performance has always been results. Regardless of playing in a boring manner, the supporters don't raise their eyebrows as long as the club is flourishing in the league table.
That being said, Danny Rohl ticks this parameter but almost all of his excellence has come in the Championship. And it isn't difficult to guess that the Saints will be far from happy only by conquering second-division football.
Hence, a one-time management fix still calls for Southampton to monitor any coaches who are on the rise in top European leagues. Further, these accolades go hand-in-hand with Strasbourg's tactician Liam Rosenior.
The in-form Englishman has impressed the Saints in the past couple of weeks but his latest feats are sure to sway even the most vocal Rohl proponents in his favour.
If you don't regularly tune in to French football, then Strasbourg's invincible March run is definitely a must-watch. Not only did Rosenior oversee all four victories during this timeframe but his team only conceded three goals in those outings combined.
Coming to Southampton, the Saints feel glad whenever the team avoids letting three goals in a single match. Thus, merely imagining the amount of improvements Rosenior can bring to this roster is quite exciting.
