A Leeds United staff member took the opportunity for a tongue-in-cheek jab as the whole team posed for celebratory pictures in an empty Elland Road.

Easter Monday 2025 will be a date that will live long in the memory for Whites supporters, as their 6-0 demolition of Stoke City coupled with a Burnley win over Sheffield United later in the day secured their return to the Premier League.

As such, there was a party atmosphere at Elland Road throughout the day, but once the full-time whistle blew at Turf Moor, the celebrations truly began in West Yorkshire.

Perhaps once sore heads had been nursed, a number of Leeds United players took to social media on Tuesday to mark their Premier League promotion triumph.

One of whom was defender Jayden Bogle, who helped Joel Piroe to the second of his memorable four-goal performance against the Potters.

The 24-year-old posted a collection of eight images taken from Leeds' triumphant day, accompanied by the caption: "This club back where it belongs!! Let's goooooo MOT💙💛"

However, the fourth image in particular captured a member of the club's staff taking the opportunity to poke a harmless piece of fun at supporters of rival clubs.

As the entire Leeds United team of players and staff posed for a group picture on the halfway line of an empty Elland Road, one staff member stood with their back to the camera in order to display the lyrics 'Leeds Leeds are falling apart again" on the back of their t-shirt.

For a brief period of time between March-early April, it really did look as though Leeds United were falling apart.

Indeed, between 1 March-5 April, Leeds won just once in six Championship games, with frustrating draws against the likes of QPR, Swansea City and Luton Town respectively all appearing set to cost them their chance of winning automatic promotion.

However, they were determined to ensure they would need endure opposition supporters singing that iconic old tune no longer, as they were able to snap those disappointing results with a watershed win away at Middlesbrough on 8 April.

Since then, they've been able to get right back in the winning groove, recording a further three consecutive victories over Preston, Oxford United and Stoke City respectively.

With their Premier League status secured for next season, Leeds' focus now switches to locking up the Championship title, but that won't be a straightforward task either.

The Whites sit level with Burnley on 94 points heading into the final two games of the season, in which they'll take on two teams who are both fighting for their lives at opposing ends of the table: Bristol City, and Plymouth Argyle.

Meanwhile, the Clarets take on QPR and Millwall in their final two clashes of the campaign, in what could be a title race that goes down the final minutes of the season.
