Habib Diarra has still not fully recovered from an ankle injury. Not at 100%, the RC Strasbourg Alsace captain could cede his place in the starting line-up against AS Saint-Étienne.

Diarra suffered a slight reoccurrence of the injury during last weekend’s 0-0 draw against AS Monaco at the Stade Louis II. Despite training with the squad since Tuesday, Liam Rosenior is not expected to take any risks with the midfielder, who looks set to begin the encounter off the bench.

His absence will likely see Sébastien Nanasi reintroduced. Emanuel Emegha will lead the line for Strasbourg, whilst Nottingham Forest loanee Andrew Omobamidele will feature in the middle of Les Alsaciens’ back three. Chelsea loanee Andrey Santos is expected to captain the side.
