Mohamed Salah began his professional career in Egypt before moving to Basel in Switzerland, where a series of outstanding performances earned him a move to Chelsea in 2014.
Despite struggling in west London, Salah returned to the Premier League in 2017, joining Liverpool after two successful seasons with Roma.
The speedy striker quickly became one of the best players in the world and was one of the main reasons for Liverpool's renaissance under manager JĂĽrgen Klopp, with the Anfield side winning the Premier League, the Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Salah is well known for his charitable work in Egypt and recently funded the construction of a new school and hospital in his hometown of Nagrig.
