An insight into the plans of the brass at La Liga giants Real Madrid for the summer transfer window has on Tuesday been provided.

The info comes courtesy of Diario AS, and points towards Los Blancos eyeing reinforcements in three positions.

The first should come as no surprise, amid fresh confirmation that Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to arrive to add to the options at right-back in Spain’s capital.

On top of Alexander-Arnold’s signing, the idea of Florentino Pérez and co. is then to bring in another at least another two players.

One would come at centre-back, and one in central midfield.

When it comes to the former, the current favourite to arrive is Bournemouth standout Dean Huijsen, considered a potential star in the making by the board at the Santiago Bernabéu.

In the middle of the park, meanwhile, the profile considered most desirable is that of Real Sociedad star Martín Zubimendi, also a known target for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
