With just a few weeks remaining of 2019 there’s been a late entry for the Worst Penalty of the Year.

Paysandu took on Cuiabá in the Copa Verde final in Brazil on Friday evening.

It was 1-1 after two legs, so the game went to penalties with both sides netting all of their first four spot kicks …

… but then Paysandu defender Caíque went and did this.
