It was heartbreak for Boca Juniors on Wednesday evening as they were knocked out of the Copa Argentina semi-finals by Vélez Sársfield.
VĂ©lez netted twice in the dying minutes to secure a 4-3 win over Boca but it was Jorge Figal's first half own goal that set the template for their defeat.
A cross from Matias Pellegrini down the left-hand side should have been cleared by Figal.
Instead the veteran defender mishit his clearance and saw an effort crash off the bar and into the back of the net.
It put VĂ©lez 2-0 up in the first half and despite a comeback to 3-2 for Boca, those two injury time strikes put their fellow Buenos Aires side into the final against Central Cordoba.
