Thiago Motta will be without three of his first team players at a minimum for the Juventus’s first Coppa Italia match of the season against Cagliari on Tuesday according to the latest updates.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Andrea Cambiaso has not recovered in time from his recent injury to be included in the team to face Cagliari on Tuesday. The Italy international has been out of action since the 2-2 draw with Bologna on December 7 with an ankle injury.

Cambiaso had originally been expected to be fit again in time to play in the Coppa Italia, but will now have to wait until the Serie A match against Monza at the weekend at the earliest.
In addition to Cambiaso, Juve will also be without fellow defender and recent Next Gen graduate Jonas Rouhi, which again leaves Danilo and Nicolo Savona as the only fit and available senior full-backs.
And, though there was finally a return to matchday action for Douglas Luiz during the 2-2 draw with Venezia, he too, is expected to miss out on the Coppa Italia match against Cagliari and will also likely return to the squad for the Monza game on Sunday.
