Torino signing Mohamed Fares has suffered an ACL injury.

Fares only joined Toro on-loan from Genoa on the weekend.

Torino have announced he has suffered an ACL injury to his right knee during yesterday's training session and will have a specialist visit shortly.

“We hope to see him return to the pitch as soon as possible," said Toro in a statement.

Fares had suffered a similar injury in August 2019 when he was with SPAL.
