Tottenham are searching for only a second home victory in six matches when they host Elfsborg in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

Spurs have been in torrid form and the pressure is growing on Ange Postecoglou, who could use a positive performance and result against Thursday's Swedish opponents. While the Lilywhites are already guaranteed to reach the knockout phase, they need victory to guarantee their position in the last 16.

Injuries continue to decimate the Tottenham squad and they will be without the likes of Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Destiny Udogie, James Maddison and Dominic Solanke for Thursday's crunch clash.

Here is how Postecoglou could line his injury-stricken side up against Elfsborg.

GK: Brandon Austin - With Guglielmo Vicario injured and Antonin Kinsky ineligible, Austin should make his third appearance for Spurs. The academy graduate has impressed in his previous two outings.

RB: Pedro Porro - The duality of Porro was on full show during the woeful weekend defeat to Leicester City. An excellent cross forged Spurs' opener but two errors quickly handed the Foxes their lead after the break.

CB: Radu Dragusin - Long-term, Dragusin is simply not good enough for Spurs. However, the combative Romanian is guaranteed to start on Thursday due to a sea of defensive injuries.

CB: Ben Davies - The return of Davies for the last three matches hasn't helped Spurs tighten up their defence, with seven goals conceded since the Welshman's comeback.

LB: Archie Gray - Gray has been relentlessly moved around the Spurs defence and midfield this season in what has been a testing debut campaign with the club. Left-back will be where he lines up against Elfsborg.

CM: Lucas Bergvall - The young Swede, who formerly turned out for Elfsborg's regular opponents Djurgarden and Brommapojkarna in his homeland, has established himself in the starting lineup recently and will likely start again on Thursday.

CM: Yves Bissouma - Bissouma returned to the Tottenham bench at the weekend and could feature in the starting lineup against Elfsborg. Pape Matar Sarr is also available in the engine room despite a current knock.

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur - The 27-year-old should provide some class and invention in the engine room during Maddison's spell on the sidelines.

RW: Dejan Kulusevski - Kulusevski has so often been Spurs' saving grace this season and the Sweden international is likely to be the game-changer on the right flank.

ST: Richarlison - Richarlison was back among the goals on Sunday, scoring his second since returning from injury. The Brazilian's minutes will be managed in the coming weeks but Solanke's fitness issues means he will be worked hard.

LW: Son Heung-min - The South Korean scored a brace in the victory over Hoffenheim last week, taking his season tally to ten in all competitions. Spurs could use his ruthlessness in an important European affair.
