Two members of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona have the honour of having played some part in every one of the club’s fixtures thus far this season.

That’s according to Diario AS, who point towards Jules Koundé and Pau Cubarsí as the pair in question.

Thus far in 2024/25, Barcelona have taken to the pitch in a competitive setting on 38 occasions, taking into account all competitions.

And though they have not started in all, stoppers Koundé and Cubarsí have featured in some capacity in each and every one.

Following close behind are Pedri and Raphinha, both of whom have racked up appearances in all but one of the Blaugrana’s fixtures.

All four players, meanwhile, will be expected to add to their respective season tallies once more on Tuesday night.

This comes as Hansi Flick’s Barcelona prepare to play host to Atlético Madrid, in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final tie between the sides.
