In the U16 boys' category, VCF Cadete A reclaimed the title by defeating Tottenham Hotspur from England in a thrilling final decided by a penalty shootout.
The team, coached by Vicente Amposta, secured their third consecutive JSSL Pro 7s title in Singapore after overcoming Borussia Dortmund in the semifinals and triumphing in the final against Tottenham — the only team that had beaten them in the group stage.
In the U16 girls' category, the VCF Femenino C and D team once again reached the final after completing a strong group stage and advancing through the knockout rounds, including a semifinal victory over Villarreal CF.
The team led by Alejandro Mora only fell in the grand final against Japan’s Urawa Reds, who prevented the Valencian side from claiming their third consecutive title.
The players from the Valencia CF Academy now return home after delivering a great performance and enjoying a valuable sporting and cultural experience during their trip to Singapore, where they were also joined by Valencia CF president Kiat Lim, who watched the matches and greeted both teams.
Valencia CF's strong showing at the JSSL Pro 7s in Singapore is further complemented by an outstanding performance from all Academy teams during this Easter break, as they claimed numerous titles and reached the final stages of most of the Football 8 and Football 11 tournaments held across Spain.
