It was surprising enough that Chelsea had pulled themselves level with a late goal from Tyrique George – but the Blues have just gone on to win the game with a stunning volley from Pedro Neto.
Having assisted George on the equaliser, the Portuguese found himself in a similar position with a ball bouncing on the edge of the box.
Knowing it was the time of the game – and of the season – for all or nothing, Neto went for it. On the swivel he half volleyed the ball, getting superb contact to send it flying past Bernd Leno into the roof of the net.
The away end, still buzzing from the equaliser, went ballistic. Could this be the goal that sneaks us into the Champions League? It would certainly be a worthy effort if it is. Tensions were really rising through that game, with nasty chants at half time, and we can only imagine what the reaction would have been like had the scoreline stayed at 1-0 to the home team.
Maybe this gives us the pressure release to win some bigger games to come.

Neto has not always been great this season – but none of our wingers have. His directness and explosiveness, plus his two footed-ness, make him a must play option in most games remaining this season.
We hope that more time and more work on this system to make it more threatening eventually allows him to be more consistent and deliver the goals and assists we need from him on a regular basis to make us a threat for the biggest trophies.
