Capaldo, Schlager, Bidstrup and Nene on short list

Two wins, a draw and a defeat in the UEFA Champions League was our record in our final push before Christmas. Now it is time to vote for which of our boys performed the best in those final four matches of 2024.

Nicolas Capaldo

The Argentinian has had a real hot streak amid the December freeze! Nico started the month in top goalscoring fashion, while also providing an assist against Klagenfurt and putting in the hard yards in his new right-back position. He was simply all over the pitch!

Alex Schlager

Whether in the Champions League or Bundesliga – when there was something to save, the Austrian international goalkeeper was there. Can Alex build on his Player of the Month honour in November to take a double?

Mads Bidstrup

Our Danish dynamite just never stops! He showed just how important he is in our final match of the year at home to Austria Klagenfurt. The visitors twice broke through our defence only for Mads to race back and rescue us.

Dorgeles Nene

As a permanent fixture in our attack, the Malian scored in all three of our Bundesliga matches over the month. He provided an assist against both Hartberg and Rapid as well as in the clash against Austria Klagenfurt, with spectacular strikes coming in the Klassiker and against Klagenfurt.
