The Lasses have won all six of their previous matches at the famous stadium - but this will be the first time they've played there in the Women's Championship, following promotion last season, and the club are looking to beat the league attendance record.
That currently stands at 15,387 and was set at the Stadium of Light last month, when the Magpies beat Sunderland Women 2-1. Tickets for Sunday's 2pm (GMT) kick-off are on sale from book.newcastleunited.com.
But supporters who can't make the game will be able to watch live and exclusive on the Official Newcastle United App.
Southampton finished fourth last season and occupy the same position after eight games this term - but Newcastle have the same number of points and will be looking to climb above them with three points on Tyneside.
Shania Hayles has scored six goals so far and will be looking to add to that tally on Sunday - and score for the first time at St. James' Park.
Former England international Demi Stokes, exciting winger Beth Lumsden and skipper Amber-Keegan Stobbs will also be out to impress on the big stage - while Northern Ireland ace Rachel Furness will be part of the commentary team for the game.
